Patna High Court Stenographer Syllabus 2022
written subjects will be conducted based on the following subjects:
1- English Language & Grammar :- fill in the blanks, spot the error, synonyms, antonyms, spelling mistake/ detecting mis-spelt words, idoms & Phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, shuffling of sentence parts, voice (active/passive voice)
2- Basic Computer science: fundamental of computers & terminologies, history of computers, computer abbreviations, basic of software and hardware, basic functionalities of MS office (Word, Excel & Power Point), Network & communication, Security tools & Viruses, basics of operating system, internet terms and services.
Important Notes: All questions of written test will be asked in english language & no negative marks for incorrect answers.
Selection Mode
- Written Test:- MCQ (multiple choice questions) based objective questions will be asked in test followed by English shorthand computer typing test with speed of 80 words per minute for 320 words.
- Interview
Minimum Qualifying Standard :
1- 40% marks in written test (objective questions);
2- 85% accuracy in English short hand;
3- 90% accuracy in English typing;
4- 30% marks for interview;
Examination Centre
- Candidates must fill the city name in the application form in which he/she desires to take the exam
