Responsibilities of the Position
- Ensures that assigned store tasks are completed on time during assigned shift.
- Uses cash registers and adheres to established cash handling procedures.
- Follows company policies and procedures for loss prevention
- Maintains a safe working environment, including personal protective equipment (PPE) (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Follows store appearance and merchandising guidelines.
- Ensures that merchandise is restocked and placed in its proper location.
- Makes use of ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or suitable alternatives.
- Retains product knowledge and current promotions by utilising AutoZone systems and information sources.
- Uses GOTTChA and helps with the installation of wiper blades, batteries, and light bulbs.
- Uses OBDII to read codes from customer vehicles.
Responsibilities of the Position Requirements
- Equivalent to a high school diploma
- A basic understanding of automotive components is required.
- Superior communication and decision-making abilities
- Capability to lift, load, and deliver goods
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, evenings, and weekends
